Dr. S. K. Prasad is a Postgraduate in Business Administration (MBA) holds a Doctorate in Management discipline and an Alumnus of Andhra University. Dr. Prasad has close to 40 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience. Of which close to 24 years in the roles of Principal/Dean/Director in reputed institutions and new-generation private universities in South India. Dr. Prasad worked as a Distinguished Professor and Chief Mentor at GITAM University, Bengaluru Campus.

BBA Entrepreneurship Program

Unique Academic Alliance with EDII Ahmadabad Architect of first of its kind academic alliance between REVA University and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmadabad: Started BBA Entrepreneurship Program in the year 2018. The Program evolved into a Premier Education Program in the University.

Commencement of Online Classes in 2018 much before COVID Pandemic

Introduced 25 per cent Online Lecture component in the Program in 2018 successfully and classes were conducted by EDII faculty through online mode.

Introduction of Workbooks

In order to ensure that students learning and practice skills are improved in various problem oriented subjects like accounting, quantitative techniques, financial management courses. These workbooks contain problems/exercises with adequate space to write answers. This will also save lot of time in the class as the teacher need not write the problem or solution on board. Once the problem is solved the teacher will display solution on LCD screen and students could make corrections in their workbook or complete the problem in less time.

Online Certifications

Streamlined and motivated students to enroll into MOOCs (Mass Open Online Courses) which are being offered at free of cost by most reputed universities across the globe. Mapped more than 170 MOOCS with MBA and BBA programs made completion of certifications as a part of continuous internal assessment processes. Enabled completion of more than 5000 certifications in the last 5 years by students.

Knowledge Management

Taken measures to document all material like PPTs, Notes, Case Studies that is shared with students in all courses. Networks of students and faculty members are created through Google Groups and students and faculty members are connected. In addition, faculty members are posting course materials, PPTs, links to e journals on their respective blogs.

Multiple Internships

Introduced multiple internship programs with Micro, Mini and Major Internships in MBA programs enabling students to engage in internships right from first semester.
